About the Photographer
Ryan Trone is a transplant from Schuyler County in Central West Illinois who now lives in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. They have an deep interest in nature, fine details and those moments at the corners of one's mind that are hard to quantify. Some of Ryan's favorite things to capture are people living in the moment, pets and of course wildlife.
Growing up, Ryan was exposed to the importance of photography at an early age. Being from a larger extended family with a vast collection of old photographs, slides and home videotapes there was more often than not someone behind a lens capturing those candid moments. Spending time in nature was not just a past time but a way of life and aside from their great teachers throughout school the land was their greatest classroom.
Their parents' venerable Canon AE-1 35mm SLR and trips into the surrounding forests and prairies provided the foundations of this love for photography. Over time, they learned that the vivid recall of an exact moment in time a photograph can create is one of the closest things Humans have gotten to creating true magic; it is that magic that Ryan strives to create as much as possible.
